The white pomfret is a popular seafood delicacy throughout India. The fish is available with us in two variants, the slightly larger variant and a smaller variant. The larger variant weighs an average of 80 to 100 gram per piece and is sold under a different product category. The average weight of the pomfret sold under this category is 70 to 80 grams. So a 500-gram pack will typically consist of 5 to 7 fishes.
The small pomfret has white flesh and is considered very tasty, it can be taken fried, smoked, barbequed or in typical Indian style curry.
Like most other fishes we deliver, the small pomfret is also delivered after cutting and cleaning so you can take the fish from us and directly put it on the oven.
